I grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL where I had a very personal experience with Equitable at a young age. When I was 12, my father passed away of a sudden heart attack. The loss was obviously devastating and my life was forever changed. My dad was an incredible man and left a legacy for all that were lucky enough to call him a friend. He also left a financial legacy for his family in the form of an Equitable Life Insurance policy. His love and financial foresight allowed my family and I to avoid any financial grief, to add to our emotional grief.
I went on to attend and graduate from Auburn University (Mom and Dad's alma mater!) where I majored in Economics and minored in Finance. I accepted a Financial Professional position with Equitable a week before graduation, and I have focused on helping families and businesses plan ever since.
